We had such a great time at Lake Cumberland! It's amazing how large the lake is, I mean it's easy to get lost and turned around so you have to pay attention to landmarks to find your way back. The boys said this was the best vacation ever! We arrived at the state dock and caught the water taxi to where Lawn Gone(our houseboat for the week)was. I thought there is no way we need a water taxi, we can just push our stuff down the pier to the boat no problem. The problem was combined with the rest of the family I think we had 10 or 12 push carts full of stuff, HOLY COW!

But after we got to the boat and unloaded the kids had so much fun. They went down the water slide and swam off the back of the boat for a couple of hours then we had dinner and got ready for the launch the next morning>.

The water off the back of the boat was about 40 ft. deep so you didn't have to worry about hitting the bottom. The slide looks so tall and scary from the top but the boys are pretty fearless ans just let loose and went for it.
Here is Wesley just jumping off the back, he tried the slide earlier and loved it the first time daddy caught him but the second time he went under the water a little further than he was use to and didn't want to do it anymore.
Here is Conner just all balls out not thinking of the height but how can he make himself go faster down the slide and further out over the water.

Here is my crazy husband jumping off the top of the houseboat; thank god his life insurance is paid up!
Here are two of my three water babies Colin in red and Conner in blue. They would spend every waking moment in the water if I would let them.
